The Loss Prevention Officer receives reports that a customer appears to be stealing items from the jewelry department of a store. He detains the suspect in question and leads him to the Loss Prevention office. Upon questioning, he discovers that the perp is not a native English speaker from his thick accent. The language barrier proves to be a hindrance throughout the interrogation. The young Russian boy becomes distressed when informed that the police may have to be involved. He reveals that he fears being deported and will do anything to stay in the country. After some negotiation, he and the Loss Prevention Officer come to a mutual understanding that leaves all parties satisfied.
